SCMS Luncheon: Burgers & Chips

Dear Fellow Sheddies,

We've chosen a global staple for our next Members luncheon in the form of a "Home-made Burger and Chips". Nothing easier, right? Well, not quite, if you want to make the perfect burger - and that's what your kitchen team has set out to do! If this does not convince you yet to sign up for a seat at the table, our dessert will surely bowl you over: "Buchteln" with custard. What are "Buchteln"? They are a traditional sweet accompanyment for the afternoon cup of coffee in a Viennese café, a simple but tasty yeast dough filled with a good-size dollop of "Don's Apricot jam" sitting in a 'lake' of Andrew's home-made custard or, if you prefer, simply dusted with icing sugar as the Viennese people enjoy them. I can promise you there won't be any left at the end of the meal!

Cost for food will be $18 with beer and wine at standard prices.  As usual, we require pre-payment with your registration.  You will be able to get a credit towards a future event if you cancel at least 1 day before this luncheon. No-shows on the day will forfeit their ticket fee.
