Our Shed has been very fortunate in acquiring a Boeing 737 Flight Simulator, built by Derek Froud and kindly donated by his nephew and Shed Member Jason Froud.

Our Shed has been very fortunate in acquiring a Boeing 737 800 series Flight Simulator, built and donated by Derek Froud via his nephew and Shed Member Jason Froud.

The Simulator has been set up for routine manually controlled flights and basic autopilot operation. It is a challenging piece of kit, and we are currently learning how to fly with complete autopilot operation via its Flight Management Computer.

Come and take a flight with us! The world is your oyster! Most pilots find it’s much easier to take off than to smoothly land! But practice makes perfect.
