Our Membership Induction Process
When a New Member joins the Shed and pays the Membership Fee, they will be required to attend an Induction Session. Our Shed Mentoring Lead will organise a suitable time with the New member to attend the Induction Session, which mormally takes between 30 and 45 minutes. The Induction Session, shown in the model below, follows an 11 Step process commencing with our Mission and culminating in a Shed Walk Around and issue of the Membership Badge with the Induction Yellow Dot. This signifies that the Member has completed their Induction and is ready to participate in any of the 13 Interest Groups within the Shed, subject to any further skills training required for the Woodworking and WoodTurning Groups.
