The Shed is always happy to assist in undertaking a range of jobs for Individuals, local businesses and Community Groups.

These types of projects are  very beneficial to both the Shed and the Customer in that it:

• provides a source of income to assist with the operational costs of running the Shed
• provides a service that is both cost effective and readily available 
• enhances the skills and competencies of the Shed members.

We don’t seek to compete with local trades people and normally do not undertake work outside the Shed boundaries, but we're happy to “have a look” at anything that can be brought in. So our scope includes:

• Repairs to existing furniture, tables, cabinets, boxes etc including re-finishing
• Wood Working projects built from scratch
• Additions, alterations to existing pieces

One option is to visit our Shed and we can discuss your project. In doing so we will :

• fully understand the requirements of your job
• identify the materials needed
• estimate the cost and a forecast completion date
• provide a written quote for your acceptance
• keep you informed on the progress of your job

We will contact you within 48 hours to discuss your Request and then provide you a quote.

If you proceed with the Quote, we will keep you posted throughout the job, then contact you when the job is completed. You may pick up the completed job or alternatively we can deliver it to you for a fee.  Payment can be made by secure credit card when you visit the Shed to check your completed job.
