PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP: SHUTTER SPEED
AT THE SHOWGROUNDS MENS SHED AT 2PM, THURSDAY 20 APRIL
This workshop focuses on shutter speed and will demonstrate its importance in managing exposure, in conjunction with aperture and ISO. Shutter speed is very important in many genres of photography, including landscapes. In this way, shutter speed offers wonderful possibilities for creativity, depending on how it is applied to manage movement. For example, it can be used to blur or freeze movement, to convey different impressions of movement and moods. Thus, mastering shutter speed offers additional horizons to the photographer, particularly in landscapes and sports/activities.
Please bring your camera and tripod. After Peter presents an overview of some of the possibilities and camera settings for shutter speed, we will adjourn to the area outside the shed and apply some of the learnings.
In conjunction with this part of the workshop we will introduce the shutter speed workshop: "Movement with Grace”. The results for this project are due on 1 May, for workshop review on 4 May.
In addition, we will present the voting outcomes for the Tranquility project
Looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday
