For this month's SCMS Members Luncheon, we have selected a special menu prepared by a special new Chef. Our recently returned member, Ron Feruglio has agreed to share some of his favourite food recipes and he will take us to Mexico and cook up a storm for our "Xmas in July" (Felize Novidad en Julio) event: "Carne guisada (Mexican beef stew)" with "Arroz rojo (Red rice)" and "Frijolas refritos (Refried beans)" are some of Mexicos national dishes. For dessert, we will be able to sample a Mexican Classic of "Tres-leches Cake" with some vanilla icecream.
If you come dressed with a "sombrero", we will shout a shot of Tequila for you and set-off some Mexican fireworks!
Cost for food will be $20 with beer and wine at standard prices.
To help us gauge demand, we require pre-payment with your registration. You will be able to get a credit towards a future event if you cancel at least 24 hours before the event, Should you need to cancel, please send an email to wernerribul@mac.com. No-shows on the day will forfeit their ticket fee.
