October is traditionally a time for celebrations in Bavaria and we will be preparing some authentic "Octoberfest" food and drinks (=beer!) for our Monthly Members Luncheon. You will be able to enjoy a hearty selection of Bavarian sausages with all the usual trimmings and our SCMS baker boys will be making some shed-baked "Brezn" (German pretzels). This will be followed by some Austrian "Buchtln" (sweet dumplings filled with plum jam) which will be served in a bed of warm vanilla custard.
Cost for food will be $20 with beer and wine at standard prices.
As usual, we need pre-payment with your registration. You will be able to get a credit towards a future event if you cancel at least 24 hours before the event. Should you need to cancel, please send an email to wernerribul@mac.com. No-shows on the day will forfeit their ticket fee.
