Health and wellbeing - Supporting cycling in WA - the role of Westcycle

Wayne Bradshaw is the CEO of Westcycle, the peak body for cycling in WA.

In this session Wayne will share -

• A brief background of WestCycle’s role as peak body for bike riding
• Bike riding is more than MAMILS (middle-aged men in lycra)
• Healthy streets and connected communities
• The role of active transport in our future transport needs

There will also be an opportunity for members to share their thoughts on what the government could do for our community in relation to bike riding in WA and a general discussion.

This is an opportunity for members to feed back to Westcycle and influence policy and direction.
