CNC Group Meeting with the following discussion points:

• New tools

• New tool database & new storage for bits and collets

• Different material settings

• Avoiding errors and accidental tool changes by copying wrong tools

• Brief information about feed rate, chip load etc

• Use of ramping to take the stress off tools

• Rule of thumb: Only cut as deep as one half of the tool diameter on each pass

• Feed rate reduction to 70% at job start
