SCMS Monthly Lunch - August 2026

Thanks to our highly-productive 'Food Preserving' Masterclasses, we will be serving up some shed-made Sausages and Sauerkraut this month.

The pork-based sausage is an Austrian Farmer-style snag called "Breinwurst", indicating that it is made with some wholesome grains, in this case a combination of millet, buckweat and pearl barley. It is traditionally pan-fried or oven-roasted to bring out it's full flavour. 

The sausages will be paired with some shed-made "Sauerkraut" and parsley potatoes, the prefect accompanyments for a good snag!

For dessert, Chef Mario will produce a secret delicacy that he discovered during his recent Euro-trip. All in all, comfort plus!

So sign up, come along and enjoy a meal with your mates! Cost for food will be $25 with beer and wine at standard prices.  

As usual, we need pre-payment with your registration.  You will be able to get a credit towards a future event if you cancel at least 24 hours before the event. Should you need to cancel, please send an email to wernerribul@mac.com. No-shows on the day will forfeit their ticket fee.
