SCMS Monthly Lunch - August 2026

Thanks to our highly-productive 'Food Preserving' Masterclasses, we will be serving up some shed-made sausages and Sauerkraut this month.

The sausage is an Austrian Farmer-style snag called "Breinwurst", indicating that it is made with some healthy grains. In this case, a combination of millet, buckweat and barley and it is traditionally pan-fried or roasted in the oven to bring out it's full flavour. The recipe comes courtesy of Werner's father-in-law who has passed this on through the generations.

This will be paired, again fully traditional, with a shed-made "sauerkraut" and some parsley potatoes.

For dessert, Mario will deliver TBC. All in all, comfort plus!

So sign up, come along and enjoy a meal with your mates! Cost for food will be $25 with beer and wine at standard prices.  

As usual, we need pre-payment with your registration.  You will be able to get a credit towards a future event if you cancel at least 24 hours before the event. Should you need to cancel, please send an email to wernerribul@mac.com. No-shows on the day will forfeit their ticket fee.
