An ideal home for your Possum. The box provides a large, comfortable and weather proof home that any self-respecting possum would love to enjoy.

The box is approximately 470mm tall at the back and 420mm tall at the front x 300mm deep x 270mm wide.

The box is made of 19mm marine ply to better stand the ravages of the weather.

The front of the box has an overhanging veranda which helps protect the entrance from bad weather and it also has a front screen which prevents birds from flying into the box and taking it over from the possums.

The lid is not fixed but is secured by a strip of HDPE which provides a flexible hinge so the lid can be opened for inspection and again weather protection to this hinge area.

The box is both glued and screwed together to provide a water tight and secure construction.

Finally, the box has drainage holes drilled into each corner of the bottom of the box and it has a portion of a tree branch screwed to the front of the box to assist with entry and exit from the box.

The box is unpainted to enable the owner to place their own creative spirit into their box. The box should be given a protective coat of paint to ensure a very long life outside in the elements.
