Following our highly successful German Food Festival, we will be visiting the Far Eastern Country of Japan to sample some special culinary delights. Lead by chef Bill Macleod, our Kitchen Team will prepare a sumptious feast of Japanese delicacies including Sushi, Gyozas and Chicken Yakitori (skewers) cooked on our own hibachi grill. And you can relax, chopsticks are not mandatory! Cost for food will be $10 with beer and wine at standard prices - we have stocked up on Bavarian Weissbier! We are again requiring pre-payment with your registration. You will be able to get a refund if you cancel at least 1 day before the event. No-shows on the day will forfeit their ticket fee. This Workshop will be led by Les Gunn who will illustrate the features of Google Photo and Apple Photo apps. Les will also lead the group in practical exercises in understanding and using the apps. Sheddies, The next Monthly Members Meeting is Wednesday 28 October at 4.30pm - 6:30pm. Miles Protter will present the topic The Listening Shed. The Presentation will be followed by a sausage sizzle and beverage. THIS IS A FREE EVENT FOR MEMBERS, HOWEVER WE NEED YOU TO REQUEST A TICKET FOR CATERING. We are limited to 33 people for the conference room, so be quick to reserve your spot. Miles has a background as an International Banker who has branched out into trying to empower people to grow, learn, develop and make positive change. He is the Founder of Men’s Business, a Not For Profit organisation dedicated to empowering men to face the challenges of life together. We look forward to seeing you there.

In time for the annual "Oktober Fest", the next installment of our internationally-themed luncheons will be lead by Chef Robert Binks. He and his Kitchen Team will prepare a German speciality of Sausages (Bratwurst), Sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. German Wheat Beer will be available for all lovers of the frothy beverage to perfectly match the food.
