Men Only Book Club
03:30 PM – 05:30 PM
Do you read books? Would you like to demonstrate your erudition in a social, but non-judgmental, environment? Come along to this gathering to find out more from Ross Littlewood, the Book Club Group Champion.  The Showgrounds Community Men's Shed is proposing to initiate a Book Club Group for shed members.  The Book Club Group will meet in airconditioned comfort at the shed, probably in the late afternoon.  The Book Club review meetings will initially be held once a month on a day to be decided by the Book Group Members. Whilst both fiction and non-fiction titles may be on the agenda, titles such as "The Reader’s Digest Complete Guide to Home Improvement” and "The Fundamentals of Woodturning" are most unlikely to make it to the list of books to be discussed. Ross will lead the discussion with a view to deciding how the Group will operate and hopefully find a style that will suit members.  To lubricate discussion at this introduction to SCMS Book Club Group, there will be beer, wine etc available at the usual shed prices! To assist with catering we request that you RSVP by "purchasing" as free ticket.
