Tuesday 7th May 2024 - Wine Appreciation Group Meeting
Showgrounds Community Men's Shed
04:30 PM – 06:30 PM
Can you tell the difference between a Western Australian Red and one from the other side of the country, and if so, is it from the McLaren Vale, Yarra Valley or somewhere else – it may even be from Tasmania.  Can you pick which wine is from the current vintage compared to the same wine stored for several years, and if so, can you guess how long it has been stored for.  Can you match the wine to the description from recognised wine reviewers. Peter Trinder will host the Wine Appreciation Group Meeting on May 7th and give you an opportunity to do this and more through a series of light hearted blind tastings of a range of Australian Reds of varying grape types, regions and vintages.
