Morning tea with scones, jam and cream
10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
The Shed would like to encourage all of our members to continue to come along to our fabulous morning teas on Thursday mornings, and since these are so successful we have been adding Monday mornings to the Event for sometime now. We have not been advertising it greatly, but am now correcting that oversight. Scones with jam and cream will be available each Monday for our members, visitors and guests to enjoy. Until we get a better understanding on how many people will come along for this morning tea, the supply of scones might intially run out, but be patient and we will adjust the number available as the evidence of demand is gathered. We know Thursday mornings are greatly appreciated and we hope you can also come along and enjoy Mondays as well. Join everyone in our lovely garden area (or in the conference room if the weather is inclement) for fresh baked scones, jam and cream with friendly companionship. Prospective members are welcome.

SCMS Luncheon - 11th June 2024
Showgrounds Community Men's Shed
12:30 PM – 02:00 PM
For the June SCMS Members Luncheon, we have secured the services of Chef Jeremy Wallace to lead our Kitchen Team in the preparation of a true winter warmer: a delicious "Slow-cooked Lamb Shoulder with Lentils". Jeremy has attempted to pass his 'apprenticeship' test several times in the past but things have gotten into his way. Not so this time round! For dessert, he promises to deliver his daughters favorite sweet dish, a sumptuous "Peach & Raspberry Cake with Cream" - how could anybody not want to taste this food? Cost for food will be $18 with beer and wine at standard prices.   To help us gauge demand, we require pre-payment with your registration.  You will be able to get a credit towards a future event if you cancel at least 24 hours before the event, Should you need to cancel, please send an email to wernerribul@mac.com. No-shows on the day will forfeit their ticket fee. We hope you will be able to join us. Best regards, Werner
